If you have never seen Rollies/Flashing Rollers before you could be wondering what these amazing products are and what all the fuss is about. Unlike traditional roller skates and other similar two wheeled skates on the market these wheels strap onto your existing trainers or other shoes so this means that the black hole AKA the cupboard under the stairs will no longer attack you with sad old roller skates long grown out off when you try to find the Christmas tree or the vacuum cleaner.
You adjust these Rollies to fit almost any size shoe/trainer. So in addition to saving a fortune on the family budget these Rollies have flashing lights on the wheels when you fly around on them making you look even cooler. Just watch the video clip at the above link to see the Rollies in action.
Easy to use we are told (us product testers have the balancing capabilities of a three legged elephant trying to do ballet!). The wheels are towards the heel and so “one just lifts the sole of ones foot and off one goes”! To stop simply put the sole back on the ground. They really do look amazing with their cool spinning LED’s.
Quite brilliant, we think they would be very handy at airports to cut down the sore feet as you feel you have walked half way to your destination before you even get to the plane.
As with all skates we advise that the usual helmets and protective bits are worn, and we also advise you never use these near any roads. These are suitable for anyone weighing under 90kg.
