With a new look and loaded with innovative features to make cleaning faster and easier, Germ Guardian® is launching the redesigned 2-in-1 Upright and Canister vacuum cleaner with Silver Clean Technology.
The vacuum will retail for under $200 and will be available at Wal-Mart stores nationwide beginning in September. The unit, which converts quickly and easily from an upright to a canister-style vacuum, uses the natural anti-bacterial properties of silver to fight odors and the growth of germs and mold.
Problem
Studies have shown that the beater bar and dust cup of a typical vacuum can harbor millions of mold spores and bacteria, such as e-coli and other harmful germs. When the vacuum is used, these microscopic organisms can easily be spread throughout the home.
Solution:
Silver is a natural anti-microbial agent, proven to kill more than 650 species of bacteria on contact.
